This .300 PRC is a long range thumper designed to reach out and touch things that most people can’t even see. It’s heavy, overbuilt, and about as subtle as your future ex wife’s divorce attorney.

The Build:

Action: Trued up Christensen Arms
Barrel: 1.250” straight-taper bull barrel threaded 5/8×24
Muzzle Brake: Area 419 Hellfire TI because the guy next to you on the range needed his sinuses cleared out anyways.
Chassis: Outlier chassis with a full-length ARCA rail because tripods, bipods, and bags require something sturdy and versatile to mount up to
Stock: MDT SRS so you can adjust that LOP and cheek riser to perfection.
Optic: Moved to a different project, but I have a Vortex optic I can throw in with it for added cost.

Why Buy It?

This is the kind of rifle you buy to shoot tiny groups at ridiculous distances, impress your buddies, and then spend the next six months explaining to your significant other why you absolutely needed another precision rifle.

It’s not lightweight. It’s not cheap to feed. And it certainly isn’t going to make you any more attractive, but the feeling of ringing steel at 1900 yards is intoxicating.
