20 inch 223 Wylde AR15 Heavy Faxon – Fight Cancer

Description

I had the upper professionally built for me to be a lightweight target/hunting gun. I only shot about 50 rounds through it. The upper was professionally assembled, the receiver was squared, and the barrel was thermal bedded into the receiver. All these things not only extends the lifespan of critical parts, but it helps improve accuracy.

The Faxon Barrel is a heavy profile barrel that’s fluted. This is to achieve weight savings while giving you a ridged barrel for accuracy. Their barrels have a Nickel Teflon coated barrel extension which further improves receiver lock up. 223 wylde allows you to shoot either 556 or 223 with increased accuracy. The 5R rifling helps increase velocity, accuracy, and makes clean up easier.
The Superlative Arms GB unlike other gas blocks bleeds out excessive gas through the front of the GB like a piston system. This keeps the gun running cooler, cleaner, and gives you less recoil. It allows you to tune the upper to the exact load you’re firing to have as little recoil as possible.
The upper receiver is a slick upper which when paired with the extended lip of the Geissele Super Charging Handle, helps eliminate gas blow back. With the Superlative Arms GB, you can practically eliminate all gas blow back, which makes this upper a great suppressor host.
