This is a sweet long range rifle. I shot my first elk with this at 996 yards and absolutely love this gun. Need to clear up room in the safe as I have too many guns. Less than 200 rounds fired through it. Absolutely an amazingly accurate and powerful weapon.

For those of you not familiar with the 30-378, this is the big brother of the popular 300 PRC. It has higher muzzle velocities and will outshoot the 300 PRC in almost every situation.

The 30-378 Weatherby is notably more powerful, generating significantly higher muzzle velocities with a wider range of bullet weights than the 300 PRC. The 30-378 shoots a 180 grain bullet 200 fps faster than the 300 PRC making it more lethal at long range. If you are wanting to really hunt at long range, the 30-378 is a more powerful/faster/more down-range energy than the 300 PRC.
