Traditions Deer hunter .50

Description

This is a Traditions Deer Hunter. It’s a solid rifle that is an excellent introduction to muzzleloading. All of my other rifles have brass butt plates, which make them a little less comfortable to shoot. This has a rubber butt plate.

It has a 48 twist, which means that it should be able to accurately fire most Conicals or round balls. It’s got a 24″ barrel, so it will be easier to carry than a standard length Hawken. It can handle a heavy enough load to put down an elk with authority.

If you were lucky enough to draw a muzzleloader tag, this is a great rifle for the hunt.

I can supply round balls, 50 caliber Minnie’s and Lee Real bullets in 250 grain.
