Most of the safes you see are 10 or 12 gauge steel and you can cut through the side with one swing of a fire axe. For instance, a Kodiak K5940 Imported Gun Safe at $1541 is 2.78mm steel, meaning 11.5 gauge steel and can be entered with a hand held grinder or fire axe in less than one minute.
56″ Tall, 36″ Wide and 16″ Deep, 750 lbs.
The one we offer no one will cut through unless they bring in a plasma cutter before they are discovered. This is the last one, we will be restocked with new safes again late this summer at $1899.
These are Impenetrable Safes, the majority u see in Cabellas, Costco and other stores are 10-12 gauge and that is very thin. This one is 3 Gauge which equals 1/4 inch steel, with an even thicker 1 gauge double door setup. Designed by guys that understand safes. Wide, but not deep so you can get to your guns without taking out most of them in front of the one you want. Easy Double door entry to access everything easily. Both an Electronic lock and manual lock included.
We have placed 30+ rifles inside in rifle sleeves, and another 30 hand guns for storage. If you want to use it as a Display then open both doors like my son does and display his rifles in the Man Cave. You can display about 16 rifles in front and place the rest in gray sleeves behind and you can mount handguns on the inside sidewalls and inside door skins, and store additional handguns in the inside locker.
Best safe design I have used in 40 years!! There is nothing worse than having to move 15 rifles to get to the one you want in the back. This way the worst case you have to move one gun to get to the next behind it!
